Ensuite Bathroom Renovation

This was another project where the ensuite bathroom was original to the home of 30 years. The clients were finally ready to do away with the ceramic tile tub deck and enlarge their tiny dark dated shower. What they most wanted was a better layout to improve traffic flow and to bring attention to the beautiful view outside their window.

Their “MUST” list included:

• a double vanity
• additional storage
• glass shower
• neutral timeless design
• free standing tub by the window
• towel warmer

Larger tiles were used on the floor to give the illusion of added space while the smaller hexagonal shower tiles produce some depth and visual interest. Both rain head and wand were included in the shower enclosure for functionality and a touch of luxury. The 72″ vanity and wall cabinet were necessary for much required storage and their blue colour was repeated in the window valance to bring harmony to the space. The clients were ecstatic with the results and joked about having a viewing for friends and family.
